Unboxing your Formi? Here’s everything you need to get the most out of it - from expert-backed setup tips to real advice from parents who’ve been there.
1. Find your spot - Couch, armchair, nursery chair or dining seat - wherever you feel most at ease.
2. Position your Formi - Place it under your feet so your knees sit slightly higher than your hips.
3. Build a relaxed foundation - Feet hip-width apart, aiming for soft 90-degree angles through your knees and hips.
4. Shoulders soft, baby up - Lean back, relax your shoulders and bring baby towards you - no more hunching forward.
5. Rock or rest - The curved base can gently rock to boost circulation during long feeds, or stay still for steady support.
Pro tip: On smooth floors? Add the Non-Slip Disc for extra stability.

Feeding without Formi? Think slouched spine, tense shoulders and a body that aches.
Feeding with Formi? Hips aligned. Shoulders relaxed. Support that lasts.

"The products we designed for Formi are examples of the best of design. The products result from a clear human need to physically support mums as they do the important work of feeding.
As designers, we were able to gently allow the natural dignity of feeding not to be interrupted by the lazy design that is often evident in the market.
The project was female-led, and all assumptions were tested and refined. I am very proud of what my team produced, and I like to think we have made the world a slightly better place through this important work."
